I don’t know about you but getting “online” seemed like a massively confusing affair when I started. I was so overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information and different strategies to use... Blogs, youtube, tags, optins, rss, iTunes, podcast, Twitter, Facebook… the list seemed endless.
After all I’m a speaker and a coach. An offline kind of gal.
But- over the last 12 months I have learned from some of the best in the industry and applied the strategies in my own business with great results. But I have been very careful in my selection of mentors.
This is because I am predominantly LAZY! I want to do the bare minimum possible to get a good result online because personally I would much rather be in my element WITH PEOPLE, rather than sitting in front of a computer all day.

- GET ATTENTION. Get some great free content out there so people get a sense of who you are and what you do- and fall in love with you and visit your site.
- BUILD RELATIONSHIP. Form a real relationship with people in cyber-space.
- GET COMMITMENT. Come up with a strategy for converting a visitor to a member of your subscribing community.
Three things! That’s it. “Even I can do that,” I thought. So I tried it, and sure enough it works…
